As a Clemson University graduate, I was excited to pursue a career in industrial management. After 10 years of working in logistics and manufacturing, I decided to make a career change. Why leave a promising career that I had chosen to pursue in my studies? In 2014, as I was anticipating the birth of my first child, I took a deep look into what mattered to me. My father was a successful small business owner for 20 years but died young in life at 48 years old. His financial decisions affected my family in such a way that I felt compelled to consider how I could impact the lives of other families and individuals through their own financial opportunities. What if I could help people not just avoid financial challenges, but also reach financial security?  Ensure a safe working environment for all associates. Supervise, lead, train and develop a team of Logistics Associates within the logistics area by setting direction, providing leadership and support to the team member. Established a turbo unload process to reduce pallet touches by 2/3rds. Conduct performance evaluations, schedule and approved time away from work, perform any necessary disciplinary actions.  Work with planning, logistics and supplier quality teams to identify, track, support, analyze and address process concerns. Full responsibility of JIT line delivery, moving approximately 6,000 containers a shift to include sequencing. Maintained great performance and understanding of a complex AS/RS. Zoned product for put away by size, weight and velocity of sku to maximize space efficiency and increase productivity. Troubleshoot AS/RS if inventory error is discovered to reconcile error. Ensure production schedules are met without compromising safety or quality.
