As a Technical Recruiter at Steampunk, I source and recruit top-level candidates who can deliver expert solutions and services to our federal clients in the Homeland Security, Federal Civilian, Health and DoD sectors. I use my skills in training, organization, and time management to manage the full recruiting cycle, from sourcing to interviewing to hiring, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.Before joining Steampunk, I served as a Human Resource Generalist in the United States Navy for over four years, where I implemented and updated organizational policies and procedures, and provided biweekly briefings to senior executive leadership and staff. I was recognized for my excellent customer service, positive attitude, and personal initiative to achieve goals and objectives. I also earned multiple certifications in tech recruiting, diversity hiring, and social and new media recruiting, which enhanced my knowledge and skills in finding and attracting diverse and qualified talent.I hold a Master of Public Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson University. My education has equipped me with a solid foundation in public policy, administration, and management, as well as business principles and practices. I am passionate about people at the core, and I love engaging with candidates, hearing their stories, and helping them find a role they can excel in.
