Responsible for coordinating the efforts of software developers, assigning work and providing guidance in technical design. Also responsible for program management for the Enterprise Data Warehouse group. Finally, responsible for release planning and coordination.

Responsible for preparation and delivery of lesson plans, lectures and tests for computer theory and computer programming classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Specific classes taught include Systems Analysis and Design, Project Management, E-Business Project Management, Networking and Data Communications, COBOL, Decision Support Systems, Project Management and more.

Responsible for developing and enforcing application design standards, reviewing application project designs to ensure that they meet overall architectural requirements and constraints. Provided consulting services to internal application development and business teams in developing project requirements and design. Research new developments in technology to determine applicability to current business needs and possibly develop proof-of-concept components/code to determine feasibility.For the last 3 years I have managed a team of 4 Systems Programmers supporting the Inquiry teleprocessing monitor (a CICS-like transaction processing system). The system is over 40 years old and is written entirely in OS/VS Assembler. The team is responsible for maintaining the system and making all required changes and enhancements.This past year I've become the manager of a group of 19 application programmers and business analysts supporting Fiserv SourceOne's Customer Information and Management Information Systems. In this role, I am responsible for all aspects of Human Resouce management for the team as well as managing resource allocation for the groups suite of projects.

Responsible for managing the five (5) senior software engineers that comprise the FIServ Research and Development Team. Job duties include systems analysis and design, project management/monitoring/reporting, human resource management functions such as performance appraisals and salary administration as well as technical consulting with the various software development teams building and/or maintaining application systems at FIServ.

Responsible for developing, testing and implementing software to satisfy banking needs for 200+ client banks. Primarily responsible for developing software that integrates FIServ's legacy mainframe accounting systems with Internet banking systems. Also responsible for researching new, emerging technologies to evaluate their application to banking.

Responsible for managing technology related projects within the Consumer Lending Group. Job duties included project documentation including project plans and cost estimates, vendor communications, vendor contract review, equipment purchase and installation, and coordinating communications between various Mellon Bank departments involved in the project(s). Implemented a $780,000 loan document imaging system and workflow control system to automate loan document handling and new loan processing.

Responsible for onsite due-diligence investigation of loan products for acquired banks. Also responsible for data mapping of loan information from the acquired banks systems to Mellon Bank's various loan application systems. Job duties included developing conversion project plans, conversion timelines, data mapping and conversion issues lists and responsible for resolution of all outstanding conversion issues.

Responsible for all levels of programming for Mellon's legacy mainframe loan systems. Job duties included coding, testing and implementing enhancements and/or problem fixes to the Student Loan, Installment Loan and Mortgage systems. Assisted in development of the RCLAPS (Retail Consumer Loan Application Processing System) which automated the capture and tracking of loan applications through the entire loan approval process. Also responsible for the day-to-day management of the Online Loan Collections System.
