I teach a variety of courses in Personal Enrichment: Eliminating Self-Defeating Behaviors; Creating the Life You Want; Meditation; Introduction to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), etc.

I provide individual and couple counseling, teach classes at the local community college, consult with local businesses, and assist people in managing or eliminating harmful or annoying habits. Until recently, I co-facilitated a ten-week divorce adjustment seminar (for 23 years), I use a variety of modalities, most recently adding Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Hopedale, Illinois

I provide group and individual counseling for a geriatric population in an outpatient program entitled Renewed Hope. This is a Medicare funded program for patients with a diagnosis of anxiety and/or depression. This program was shut down by the hospital June 30, 2013.

Provided individual counseling with students, staff and faculty; workshops and seminars for campus population, consulted with faculty and administration staff

Provided counseling services, supervised junior clinicians, functioned as internal ombudsman for agency, was clinical director for heroin treatment program.In addition, when requested by administration, functioned as Interim Program Director for alcohol treatment programs.

Began as director of half-way house for alcoholics, added long-term program for same population. Also acted as Program Director for Youth Services and Crisis teams.

In addition to counseling students and staff, I administered a paraprofessional student counselor assistant program. I screened, hired, trained, and supervised (with colleagues) students who acted as case finders in the residence halls and also worked as aides in the counseling center and the academic advising center.

I provided individual and group counseling services. With other staff also provided psycho-educational programs.

Peoria, Illinois Area

With three colleagues, I founded this company in order to provide consultation and training services to the mental health community. We were awarded a federal training grant for area substance abuse programs. I administered the program and assisted in providing the training.
