I started working with FedEx as a Customs Clearance Agent. I supported Singapore export market doing all the paperwork and clearances needed to uplift the shipments. My role is to lead a small group that is responsible in Data Entry. I make sure all the data inputs my Team is 100% accurate and correct. Since we are dealing with Singapore Customs we don't have room for errors. After doing Clearance work for 18 months. I decided to join the Operations Department. I apply for the available position as a Ramp Agent. My responsibility includes the following: Loading and Offloading the cargo on the Aircraft; Doing Weight and Balance to make sure the Aircraft is safe to fly; Inspection of Dangerous Goods; Coordinating with different government department such as Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Airport police; Team scheduler and daily tasks. I am also trained and certified to do Aircraft marshalling. Certified Forklift operator.
