Program Developer, Lead Organizer and Curator of "Massive Response", Eastern Front Gallery, June 8 - 19, 2005 – including presentation of keynote speech - resulting in wide media coverage and increased gallery attendance.Established in 2003 by local artists with a drive to get their work to the forefront of the contemporary Toronto art scene, Eastern Front Gallery was created as a non-profit, artist-run centre with a focus on professional and stimulating artistic practice in Toronto’s up and coming East End.Eastern Front welcomed emerging and mid-career artists with a strong body of work who sought to further develop their artistic and professional standards while contributing their talent and skills to new peers. We exhibited work that expressed the best of current creativity and made a space for artists who embraced a commitment to community.
