As the Outreach Ambassador for Zick Productions, I am dedicated to traveling to wellness events in various states to engage with industry professionals and brands that are looking to expand their reach and visibility and become a part of the cannafest community. Celebrating 10 years on April 20, 2024, Zick Productions has excelled in creating experiences that highlight alternative therapies like cannabis, bringing together leading industry experts, brands, and consumers. Our events feature live music, diverse food options, and a market with over 250 vendors, attracting over 35,000 attendees. This festivals offer plentiful opportunities for sponsorships and vending, ensuring high visibility in the wellness space and beyond.

Ron Millward grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 17. He served for seven years as a combat vehicle operator and an aerospace flight medic. During that time, Ron moved over 33 times and deployed to Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea. After struggling with combat-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the loss of a few friends to suicide, he decided to separate in hopes of finding a new direction in life by helping people. After finding many alternative therapies helpful to his own healing journey he founded Balanced Veterans with other veteran board members to reach back out and help other veterans on their wellness journey.

Creative and production lead. Responsible for the in- person experience for 4 unique locations around the city of Philadelphia. Oversaw over 100 volunteers with various teams including media, video, and audio elements. Maintained a large inventory and budget for equipment. Planned, and executed professional equipment installs, Live Stream Technology, Stage Designs, Video Staging, Producing, Art direction, directing live video. Troubleshooting and fixing equipment for all locations. Environmental and sound designer. Critical attention to detail and high capacity fast paced environment.

Part hard core and hard rock, part Sunday morning worship set, Ron Millward (electric and acoustic guitar, vocals) is an adept teacher, musical mentor, and studio musician. Having played with bands on the East and West Coasts for over nine years, while also leading church worship services internationally, Millward pairs an astute understanding of the power of music with a passion for helping others become the musician they desire to be. Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Millward grew up singing with his grandmother before taking up the acoustic guitar at age eleven. He recalls, “I don’t remember a time that I wasn’t singing with my grandma. Whenever we were together—at home, in the car, at the grocery store, at church―we were singing. When a youth-camp worship leader later spoke to me about a calling in music, something inside of me clicked. I knew I’d be making music the rest of my life.” Millward took up the acoustic guitar almost immediately, learning on his church’s praise and worship team and through various jazz and vocal ensembles at school, while also working to save for his first guitar. As a teen, he branched into electric guitar out of a passion for edgier sound, playing shows each week with the bands at regional colleges, clubs, churches, fire halls, and any other venue that would take a crew of loud, boisterous, fun-loving, hard-rocking guys for the night. Following school, Millward joined the United States Air Force, giving him the opportunity to move to Washington state and explore the Northwest’s metal and hard rock scene while also leading worship at the church on base. During deployments to Iraq and South Korea, Millward continued playing music, focusing on his technique and the emotional impact that music can have for those needing a sense of solace, purpose, and home. In 2012, Millward moved to the Washington, D.C. metro area for a position with the Pentagon as an aerospace medic; he completed his Air Force service in late 2013.

Aerospace flight medic E-5 stationed at McGuire AFB and the Pentagon. 4N051 EMT certified, combat and trauma trained.

2T151- E3-E5 Vehicle operator/ dispatcher. I was trained, certified and then instructed other drivers on any vehicle that had wheels. Basic mechanic skills, Radio communication, dispatch, critical problem solving. Basic combat convoy training & SERE trained. Deployed to Kuwait/ Iraq in 2010 during the draw back as we were leaving. Served with the brave men and women of the 70th detachment doing convoys with the army. We traveled over 25,000 miles and explored nearly every FOB In Iraq. If we can’t truck it, F*(k it!
