During my 30+ year career, I've had the luxury of working in three challenging industries: transportation, electric utilities, and banking. Much of my career success is attributed to the management training received during my 15 1/2 year tenure at United Parcel Service. UPS shaped my leadership skills, business development acumen, call center management, operational management--and reinforced the importance of continuous improvement. Thanks to UPS, I completed my MBA Program in 1998. I'll always be appreciative for everything UPS did for me and my family. In 1998, I chose to change careers and joined DEMCO as their Business Development Manager serving the Baton Rouge MSA. While in this position, I successfully lead the advertising and business development efforts for the core business and for three (3) for-profit subsidiaries. In May 2008, I accepted the Vice President of Marketing position for Campus Federal Credit Union--LSU's Credit Union since 1934. After three years in this capacity, I accepted a new position as Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations in September 2011 to implement a sales culture and new focus on production and member service. Over the next 2 1/2 years, I lead and developed an dynamic business development & community relations team to increase new business and production opportunities across the State. In January 2014, I accepted a promotion to become the credit unions Chief Development Officer (CDO). As CDO, my responsibilities expanded to include the strategic direction and success for all statewide Branch Operations, Business Development & Community Relations, Call Center, Media and Public Relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions. I'm extremely lucky to work for such a fine organization filled with great employees!
