Anesthesia billing is one of, if not the most, complex in all modern medicine. At Fusion Anesthesia, our entire day is making sure we get it right for our clients. We accomplish this through great people, very complex data systems and analytic reporting enabling the identification of anomalies and outlying patterns within our business processes and data. We know exactly what we should collect on every claim line, and spend relentless efforts making sure we collect every contracted penny possible for our clients.Many of my experiences come from my days at Marquette Electronics (now GE Healthcare). I was lucky enough to be principle architect, developing Marquette's first patient data management solutions. I managed Marquette's Cardiology manufacturing engineering group and served six years as Marquette's CIO before the GE acquisition; totaling 14 years with Marquette.In 1998 I started a health care consulting firm; Celeritas Solutions, Inc. My partners and I also started TeraDimension, Inc in 1999, focusing on technology while Celeritas maintained its focus as a pure business firm.In 2001, I put all of my efforts into TeraDimension; I focused the company on software products vs. consulting. I landed a partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin early in 2001. Together, we engineered the TeraRT product suite; An Enterprise Real-Time Clinical Data Repository and Real-Time Data Warehouse.Then next generation of TeraDimension launched Analytic Works. Analytic Works platformed a new technology AnalyticMD. The AnalyticMD solution is a software product designed for capturing, managing and providing access to condition specific information across multiple patient populations in support of organized clinical care, outcome based analysis and predictive analytics.
