I am that person who has always asked, “Why?”That curiosity has served me well throughout my career. As a claims employee for over 30 years and an executive for over 20, and also as a former insurance company general counsel, with my teams, we built and successfully executed comprehensive claims, compliance, regulatory, litigation management and risk reduction programs.Throughout this time, litigation management has been my true passion. This may have been triggered by my early career as an insurance defense litigation attorney. While I went in-house at a carrier after only a few years of practice, what I saw and experienced through balancing the needs of my clients, my carrier representatives and my law firm had an overwhelming impact on me and I knew many years ago, there were opportunities. I was able to bring that perspective and those learnings into my first in-house role and successfully built on that through designing "behavioral," comprehensive, litigation management programs at my subsequent carriers, benefiting my insureds, carriers, and partner law firms, through increased quality and efficiency and reduced risk and cost.I am excited to continue my passion at FMG, a firm that knows what it takes to meet and exceed client and carrier/TPA/corporate partner expectations. At the heart of our practice lies a passion for high-quality legal work, while applying business sense to every step in the process.
