Developed and delivered training programs for local guides in the subjects of natural history, human history and park management issues for Banff, Yoho, and Kooteney National Parks. I also teach a two day group management course offered by the IGA which covers basic group management skills for summer and winter such as route selection, timing of hikes, strategies to manage groups while on the trail and new guides' interpretive talks.
