Beginning with nannying at 15, I began my journey in caregiving early on, learning patience, responsibility, and empathy while nurturing young minds. This role honed my multitasking skills, ability to prioritize and ability to adapt to various situations, laying a solid path for the future.Transitioning to a cashier/food & beverage specialist at Health in Hand, I entered the service industry, where I learned the importance of customer satisfaction and attention to detail. Interacting with diverse clientele sharpened my communication skills and accentuated the value of maintaining professionalism even in challenging circumstances.I continued at restaurants like Enrico's Italian Restaurant and Snooze an A.M Eatery, which further immersed myself into the hospitality sector. Working in a larger restaurant taught me lessons in teamwork, time management, and the art of delivering exceptional service under pressure.Venturing into retail as a cashier/sales associate, I was in a new territory, where I gradually got my footing and climbed the ladder to key holder, shift lead, and assistant manager roles. This progression displays my ability to grow in leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making scenarios. Managing teams and operations instilled the importance of effective delegation of tasks, customer and employee conflict resolution, and attention to detail.Each position has offered invaluable lessons about business etiquette, interpersonal dynamics and the pursuit of something more. My juggling of both education and work is an example of my capacity to take on multiple tasks, delegate and prioritize, ensuring all tasks are completed correctly and on time.
