I always enjoyed science and art from an early age and wanted to pursue Chemistry in my higher education. The subject was a bit more complex than I expected and I continued to pursue an Associate’s degree. Working within different industries, all related to building relationships with the clientele, led me to work within hospitality and retail for several years. Having dealt with skincare issues when I was younger, I decided to get more familiar with the industry (that affinity for Chemistry came into play,) and I became certified as a Facial Specialist in 2014. Starting as a Receptionist in a beauty salon, I worked my way into a better position with my skin care license and worked in a Medi-spa locally. When the closure of the business happened, I began working for Ulta Beauty as a beauty advisor and advanced to become a Skin Therapist. My achievements and skillset include• Attainment of the level of Senior Skin Therapist within my initial year• Duties included attracting new clientele, promotions, hosting events• Developing a proficiency with instructing other estheticians in different protocols• Becoming an expert in skin care regimens I have a desire to continue working in the Naples/Fort Myers area within the industry and feel that I can add value with:• A complete realization of the importance of being detail oriented • Sharing my skincare knowledge with clients• A love of education – I have just acquired a Certification in Dermaplaning• Strong tendency to offer my skillset 100%• Loyalty to my employerI am particularly proud of becoming a Dermalogica expert, benefiting high-end clientele by being knowledgeable about the product line.
