I am very passionate about helping individuals be their best selves and overcome challenges associated with addiction. I believe my own personal experience with addiction, coupled with my education and work related experience in counseling and psychology, has given me the ability to make a lasting positive impact on the world and specifically the addiction recovery community.I have been blessed to work for some incredible companies in roles that have molded me into a well rounded recovery treatment provider. I started at Oaks Integrated Care as a counselor/case manager for a dual diagnosis partial care program in 2019. About two years later, I become the coordinator of that program. Shortly after I started my clinical supervised training towards becoming a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC). During that training, I worked as a per diem addictions counselor, while working my full time coordinator position. I changed full time positions to work at Cooper Hospital's addiction medicine department as a navigator specialist. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, providing individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. My approach to addiction treatment is holistic, emphasizing empathy, respect, compassion, and evidence-based practices to promote lasting recovery and positive life changes.I believe we all have the ability to recover and contribute our own unique abilities to create a better world.
