Ronnie Lowe has been director of the Lancaster Outreach Center since April 1998. Previously, he served as minister of the Beltline at Main Church of Christ in Lancaster for nine years. He has 35 years experience in the ministry. LOC is a dynamic interfaith social service agency committed to relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and promoting self-sufficiency by providing assistance and support to the people of South Dallas County. Annually they assist over 9,000 different people and provide $950,000 worth of assistance. Assistance provided has more than doubled in the past eight years. They conduct the only sliding scale counseling center in the area. Ronnie was born in Dallas and lived in Cedar Hill until he was twelve. He then moved with his family to Grandview, TX where he met and later married his wife Latisha. They have three grown children and three granddaughters. He serves as a Lancaster Police Department chaplain, and is former chairman of the Lancaster Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, the Lancaster Planning & Zoning Commission and the Lancaster Housing Advisory and Appeals Board. He is very active in other civic, school and city activities. He has been a frequent speaker in the north Texas area on the subject of domestic violence since his older sister was murdered by her husband in 1995.Specialties: Domestic Violence
