I worked at Manaugh Elementary in Cortez, Colorado as a Reading teacher for 3 and a half years. I worked with children with reading disabilities using the Lindamood Bell program, in which I was certified. I also did extensive evaluative testing and scoring to measure reading progress.

Designed and wrote curricula for children's science workshops and other activities. Coordinated and maintained supplies for children's birthday parties at the museum (dinosaur- or space-themed). Co-directed summer science camp, helped to train docents, orchestrated some of the museum's public events, such as I.D. Day. Weekend host and "staff-person-in-charge." Taught some science outreach.
