The work in this ministry position began as a helping role but evolved into a revitalization project for this church. Fellowship Baptist is a historic local community church that has weathered the storms of change and community transition for 100 years. Situated in the rural community of Taylorville, between Wellborn and Lake City Florida. An objective of pastoral ministry is to create a culture of hope and positive expectation for faith within our community. The service I offered at fellowship was in many ways characteristic of ministry to a typical deep-south community church. What makes this church ministry unique is the uncommon desire to develop community from existing strengths, to build community, and advance positive values in practical ways to serve Christ through the church. It was upon that basis that this church was led through a process of revitalization and combining with an exiting church without a building and continues to have a vital ministry.

This Curriculum consisted of 13 training units that compose that allow facilitators to tailor their curriculum to meet training goals addressing criminogenic factors of victimization. Commitment to Change (Cognitive Behavioral Change)Thinking errors revealed in vivid and dramatic encounters between inmates. Students and staff in many settings will discover direct, personal applications; it is far easier to recognize and debate the errors of people on the screen prior to considering your own. Systematically, the program leads students to practical, concrete ways to become aware of their own thinking and its consequences and day by day, work toward the goal of responsible lives.
