• The Company M/S Bamboo Technology Park has been incorporated as a section 25 Company to set up a Bamboo Technology park for the benefit of bamboo based industrial cluster at Chaygaon, near Guwahati, District – Kamrup, Assam under industrial infrastructure Up-grading Scheme (IIUS) launched by the Department of Industrial Promotion and Policy (DIPP), Government of India.BTP has on 60 Bighas of land has developed considerable and comprehensive infrastructure with top class Common Facility Centre and state of the art Machinery for Primary Processing of Bamboo and to supply the products as raw materials to the end-used industries operating within the park and pilot plant for training and demonstration to the prospective entrepreneurs. Its facilities include a Bamboo Handicraft unit in a very organized manner, a Bamboo dust briquette Unit for making bamboo charcoal and extraction of bamboo vinegar, a Product Design Centre, an International level Marketing Facility, a Bamboo culms Pressure Treatment Plant. Culms treated in this Plant will be sold for making Bamboo houses for eco-tourism projects, cottages, furniture making etc., Setting up of Various units for manufacturing Bamboo Based Products.

The Company M/S North East Megha Food Park Limited has been incorporated as a section 25 Company to set up a Food park for the benefit of Agriculture, Horticulture based industrial cluster at Tihu, District – Nalbari, Assam under Ministry of Food Processing, Government of India.NEMFPL has on 50 Bighas of land has developed considerable and comprehensive infrastructure with top class Common Facility Centre and state of the art Machinery for Primary Processing Food Processing and to supply the products as raw materials to the end-used industries operating within the park and pilot plant for training and demonstration to the prospective entrepreneurs. Its facilities include a Cold Storage unit in a very organized manner, it developed two primary processing units in Assam. It was the first Mega Food Park project of the Northeast under PPP mode between Govt. of India, Govt. of Assam and a Private partners.

The plant is having a workforce of around 250+ and 71 staffs, producing around 3.96 lacs of Goodnight mosquito repellent bottles per day along with other products like Goodnight mosquito repellent Matts, Brylcreem, Kiwi Shoe Polish, Shower Gel. Spearheaded operations leading all facets of Operations, Manufacturing, development and Human Resources of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. plant at Guwahati as the plant is being managed by our company Achieved the ever highest production targets. Pursued for obtaining the GMP certification. Developed innovative method for calibrating machine whose setup caused unnecessary variation in final product; new method resulted in reduced set-up time and an improved product. Upgraded the existing systems and implemented modern techniques of plant operations i.e 5S, TPM & TQM. The plant was awarded the best among the 6 other N.E. plants of Godrej in the year 2011-12

Commissioning of the new projects to ensure smooth functioning of the plant & create capacity and capability for manufacturing of custom built products and new products as per budget. It was my idea of changing the packaging of cement paint from tin containers to plastic bucket, which brought a revolution in the packaging of cement paint in North Eastern Market of India.Highlights  Steered SBU operations for the unit as Profit Centre Head (Reporting to M.D/Chairman),  Successfully implemented systems and Improvement in existing systems of Man management & General Administration (HR). Developed and implemented the plants with 5S, 5M & Kaizen program, resulting in reorganization that accentuated core technical skills and delivery of customer-specific services(Customer Delight) Reduced input expenses by the Optimum utilisation of resources & restructured the maintenance schedules to bring down the P&L Accounting under control.
