Highlights:+ produced and revamped publications or brand campaigns for Harvard, the NCAA, Northwestern University’s Medill School, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the ABA, Dow Jones and others.+ helped launch a multimedia news organization in Lagos, Nigeria, and advised dozens of others, from Dallas to Dubai to Delhi, on reorg, rethink and redesign. + trained thousands of editors, reporters, photographers, designers and news media managers, from Moscow to Reykjavik to Sao Paulo, first as Program Director / Faculty at Poynter, later on my own. + served as Distinguished Professor of Journalism at the University of Montana, creating and teaching a master class in news media / social media design and disruption. Now based in Portland after long stretches in St. Petersburg, then Chicago, I'm taking time out to restore and enjoy a cabin on a rushing river in the Mount Hood National Forest, and do some writing about the same.
