I direct the Operations at Holman-Hankins where my goal is to provide services and merchandise to the customer who does not want what we have to offer at the most devastating time in their life. I judge my success on the heartfelt thank you I receive knowing that I've made life a little bit more bearable for the many people my firm has served. Directing the Human Resource responsibilities has allowed me to shape the future of the industries leaders. By personally hiring, training, mentoring both employees and apprenticeships/internships I was able to guide these people as they grew as directors. My apprentice program with the State or Oregon yielded a 100% state board exam success rate. Working with OSHA, I implemented our safety and compliance program designed to reduce biohazard exposure and address other industry risks/hazards. Over the last 10 years we have maintained a 0% workers compensation and automotive/liability claims rate. As an Events Planner / Funeral Director, I have helped numerous families arrange and then managing events with groups from 25 to 1000 people.As a Buyer/Purchaser, l coordinated with the Duddy Group to develop a J.I.T. inventory & marketing system, that reduced flooring costs from $75,000 to just under $500.Looking forward, I aspire to blend my leadership, operations, human resource, and planning skills to an organization driven to continued growth and success.
