Employee Assistance Program, Consultant
CurrentRon Scott, Employee Assistance Program Consultant for Pine Rest, works actively with current and prospective customers to educate and engage them in the services of the organization. Ron has a passion for providing access to mental health assistance through employee assistance programs.In addition to EAP Consulting, Ron directs and facilitates the educational briefing programs in stress management, communication, and performance management. He provides one-on-one coaching for frontline supervisors. Previously, Ron was Director of Member Engagement at The Employers’ Association (TEA). While there Ron worked with the current and new members to engage them in the services of the association. Ron facilitated leadership training and provided coaching for frontline supervisors. Ron also was the Executive Director of the Employee Assistance Center,(EAC), which provides short-term counseling for the working adult. Ron facilitated the growth of EAC to over 250 participating organizations during his tenure.Prior to that, Ron was the Director of Human Resources for Zondervan Corporation. He provided an employee assistance program to assist employees and their families.Ron has served on the Zeeland Public Schools Board of Education for the past 16 years. He has served as President, Curriculum Chair and Trustee. Ron earned his certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) awarded by the Human Resources Certification Institute.(HRCI)He has a MA degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. He received his BA in Business Administration from Spring Arbor University.Ron is married and they have three young adult children.
