As the SVP of Business Development, I lead an excellent team that: - Produces and sells the industry leading NAA Click & Lease forms, in use across more than 5 million rental homes- Partners with Leonardo 247 to provide the industry's best compliance and management platform, NAA Click & Comply- Markets all NAA products and services and manages the NAA brand- Maintains the legal updates to all NAA lease forms based on legal changes and case law across 50 states- Serves as the staff for the for-profit subsidiary NAA Services, LLC- Responsible for the development, management, and innovations for all NAA current and future products- Leads the relationships will all NAA supplier partners and the National Supplier's Council- Manages and sells all digital and print advertising opportunities as well as exhibits and sponsorships at NAA's annual Apartmentalize conference- Works with our global partners for the sharing of resources and knowledgeIn providing all of these great products and services to both our rental housing industry and supplier members, this team generates more than $25 million in revenue for NAA.

Led the business development team following organizational downsizing amid the pandemic. As a team we managed the relationships with lease customers, exhibitors, advertisers, and supplier partners/sponsors, retaining all top partners and exceeding revenue goals.

Led the implementation of a newly designed team to support and strengthen the 153 state and local affiliate associations that provide resources for the rental housing industry in their communities.

In the role of Chief Member Services Officer, I was very fortunate to lead a department of talented individuals who:- Provided valuable services to NSBA's federation of 50 member associations- Generated over $14 million of NSBA's $18 million budget- Ran a citywide conference for school district leaders with over 6,000 attendees annually- Provided thought leadership on the role of equity in education- Convened education leaders to meet and share ideas through groups such as the Council of Urban Boards of Education, the National Hispanic Council of School Board Members, the National Black Council of School Board Members, and the American Indian/ Alaska Native Caucus- Supported a network of 15,000 school district leaders nationally with news, information, and innovative ideas in education through NSBA's National Connection program

Promoted to serve as the number two in the department and to lead member services and NSBA's equity education efforts.

Led the redevelopment of NSBA's primary source of revenue, the National Connection program, working with and through the state association members.

Led the operations of a 5,000 member professional association with 22 staff and a $5 million budget under what the executive director called the "one throat to choke" model. Under this model, everyone reported to me and I reported to the executive director--making me the throat. Very little choking was necessary.

Led the development and member engagement with the legislative action center and handled all media inquiries.

Led a research team of talented policy analysts in the effort to collect and report state level education policy data. Our goal was to turn research and data into actionable intelligence for education practitioners and policy makers. Our main products were the Quality Counts and Technology Counts annual reports.

Conducted original research and analysis for the grant funded annual reports Quality Counts and Technology Counts and served as the lead researcher on issues of school climate.
