Responsible for the worldwide management of the Risk Management Department for entity that owns/manages 2 destination resorts, Atlantis in Dubai, and 7 luxury destinations, One & Only resorts located in Bahamas, Mexico, Dubai, Mauritius, Maldives, Morocco, Australia and Cape Town. Primary responsibility is the design and implement of risk management strategies to reduce the company's exposure to losses. Strategies include risk financing (self-insured retentions and insurance), loss prevention and claims management.

Managed risk management of a fleet of 35 ships and shoreside operations. Designed and implemented risk management strategies which reduced the company's exposure to loss. Strategies included loss prevention initiatives (guest, crew and ship safety) and risk financing through optimum self-insured retention and risk transfer ($18b assets covered by $81m insurance program).

Managed marine (260 vessels) and non-marine risk identification program, including implementation of loss prevention and reduction strategies. Oversaw $17M insurance program and claims/litigation department, including external legal counsel worldwide. Coordinated safety and loss prevention initiatives with Quality Assurance and Operations Department.

Key participant in creation, start-up and operation of a cruise line operated as a component of Walt Disney World experience. Managed all elements of risk management function: risk identification and management, risk financing (including insurance placement) and claim/litigation management. Also managed shipboard medical facility and shore-side medical services. Coordinated risk management activities with Walt Disney Company in Burbank, California and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida
