I am a recently retired partner from Deloitte with over 40 years of experience. As the Founder and Leader of the Member Firm Restructuring practice, I was accountable for an international team that resolved and remediated brand-damaging events around the world. In this role, I drove profitability and quality improvements totaling >$1 Billion in Europe, Asia and Africa. As leader of the Global Member Firm Standards Initiative, I was also responsible for driving global operational integration and adherence to firmwide standards to ensure Deloitte’s continued delivery of high-quality, world-class client services, as well as protecting and enhancing the firm’s brand and reputation. Through my career at Deloitte, I have been a member of the Deloitte U.S. Firm Board of Directors, and held leadership roles within Deloitte Tax LLP, including Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Regional Managing Partner for the Midwest Region, and Office Tax Managing Partner for the Chicago Office. I am passionate about giving back to the community, with a specific emphasis on education and supporting employment opportunity equity. I have held significant lay leadership roles in various nonprofits, and in 2011 I was honored to receive the Outstanding Leadership in Advancing Diversity Award from the Illinois CPA Society. I am interested in potential Board service opportunities where I can apply the depth of my global and restructuring experience and give back to the next generation of leaders.
