Ron Stowers entered the mortgage industry in 1999 when he took a position as a mortgage advisor with a large independent brokerage in San Diego. Ron immediately fell in love with helping people achieve the American dream of homeownership. He particularly relished the opportunity to focus on the financial planning aspect of helping his clients get the mortgage that best suited their short- and long-term financial goals. His commitment to serve his clients helped him achieve top-producer status in his first full year in the mortgage business.Ron’s passion to serve people and ability to mentor others quickly created opportunities for management responsibility. Over the years, Ron has filled numerous prestigious leadership positions with both small and large, public and private organizations – most recently serving as Vice President of Regional production where he built his southern California region to be over a $4 billion dollar region. His keen insight into the dynamics of a home purchase decision, whether the logistics of a funding or the emotions of a buyer, is a skill he develops with every person on his team. His superb style of leadership has earned him many notable distinctions and awards.Now, Ron has joined the Executive team as Chief Strategic Officer of full-service mortgage company Homeowners Financial Group (HFG). In his role, Ron leads the development of the organization’s strategy and translates it across functions, people, and business units. By understanding how to focus the organization not only just on planning for tomorrow but also on executing today, he creates strategic initiatives and partnerships and drives organizational change. Ron is passionate about making sure HFG continues to be the lender of choice for our borrowers, referral partners, employees, and community.
