Software Engineer

Eureka, Missouri, United States

As a Software Engineer at RotoMetrics, I developed and maintained several applications with a focus on multi-tiered architecture and front-end development in Visual Studio using C# and VB.NET. On the back-end, I utilized Oracle database, packages, stored procedures, and PL/SQL. I heavily customized the usage of Oracle's Work In Process module, resulting in durable and long-standing applications that are used in multiple continents. These applications handle all cultural conversions of numbers, dates, and other values between the UI and database. One of the significant accomplishments during my tenure was developing Windows applications and DLLs that provide real-time visibility into orders' movement through manufacturing, accounting for inventory used, and collecting scrap, non-conformance, and QA data. These applications also display special instructions and provide senior management and personnel with costs associated with manufacturing.I also developed a Lathe Application that automates processes for Solid Dies, Magnetic Cylinders, Print Cylinders, Print Sleeves, and Anvils. After validation, the Lathe Application delivers the compiled code file to the CNC device. In addition to this, I developed a CNC Grinder Application that interfaces mainly with Toyoda CNC grinders. This application collects and assembles data, resolves math, evaluates script functions, and performs numerous validations while creating the Grinder's code file. The results are precise and specific to each customer's order.Furthermore, I created a Windows Service application that automates Heat Treat and Chroming operations.
