Worked as senior designer / conceptual desiger / project leader on one project in the Airline Industry. This project was groundbreaking in approach and set new standards in experience design of services.Accomplishments:- Pioneering holistic design approach, developing tools & approaches and testing these in project- User research, concept development, co-creation, prototyping and testing Selfservice Checked Bagdrop Solution for Schiphol Airport managing design team and complex relationships with technology vendors and customer KLM. A concept that went live in 2008 and still is in operation on multiple Airports

I was a key member in the New Technology Group searching for the 1$ Barcodescanner in 1999/2000 and became inventor and entrepreneur of a technology and its services of a 1.3B+ mobile applications innovation (Nov 2024 data). The invention? Scanning a barcode with a mobile camera phone and note, this was 3 years prior to the launch of the first Nokia camera phone. Was I the inventor? Of the application yes but I did what I am stil do up to today, I was connecting the dots between a technology development for a different market, cool camera based concept phones showcasing the future of connected devices, the belief that scanning barcodes was one of the most user friendly interfaces and a good understanding of the internet bubble around us. What happened after this was teams work and led to 3 startups, each in a different way.Accomplishments:- Concept development and value proposition development that convinced engineers, management, shareholders, Nokia and investors when we translated the original storyboard into an investor video- Creation of a disruptive innovation that is still in use today- Businessplan development, partnership workshops, pitching and endless learning bridging the physical and digital world envisioning mobile services and business models- Design- and redesign of various barcode scanning products for retail but also kiosks and narrow casting solutions for instore communication and interaction- Winner Ericson Mobile Awards

I was involved in designing the Boomerang Concept Bicycle, build a prototype of an electric wheelchair scooter and much more. Hands on experience as design engineer, prototype builder and designer.

Starting as an intern I extended my employment in Inventum as freelance Designer working on (re)Design of 2 warm water products: Console (30 - 150 L) and Maxi (20 L).
