Ron has been a general practitioner in Henderson since November of 1997. Broad, general practice: personal injury, with the exception of Worker's Compensation; all criminal offenses including driving under the influence and domestic violence, as well as serious felonies; estate planning, including intervivos trusts, wills, probate and alternatives to probate; all phases of family law, divorce, separation, child custody, adoption, step-parent adoption, and name changes; real estate matters, including litigation, easements, quiet title, transfers, fraud and disclosure; business entity formation and dissolution, including partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, limited partnerships; and individual bankruptcies under Chapters 7 and 13.

I practiced law in a small town on the central coast of California. I not only represented private clients, but for a short time, represented clients for the public defenders office.Prior to opening my own practice, I worked in the District Attorney's Office in the San Joaquin Valley of California for almost 2 years.

Between graduation in January, 1969 and the start of law school in October of 1969, Ron worked as a probation officer in an institutional setting in Los Angeles County. He was assigned to the Sylmar Juvenile Hall, which is located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County. He worked in the "special unit." A variety of kids with special problems were assigned to the unit. Individuals who needed special assistance and structure, for instance those involved in fighting and intimidation of others were a major category. Likewise, a major consideration were individuals who could and were the victims of bullying. The "unit" was able to provide the special protection of a smaller environment and protect them from physical and emotional harm. Lastly, he supervised other individuals which the institution thought were necessary to segregate. These included homosexuals who were blatant about their sexual preference and who were either predators or potential victims of predators. Also all the kids who were identified as having a past history of arson. As can be imagined, they were restricted from any possibility of igniting anything. And handling children with runaway potential, Ron never lost a child by an escape.
