- 20 years of experience in the fields of Information Technology, IT Project Management and IT Business Development- Over ten years of experience in partnering directly with industry-leading manufacturers such as Dell/EMC- Currently assisting in company-wide effort of cultivating business relationships in the medium to enterprise markets across commercial, K-12, and higher education verticals in the NJ/NY area- Primarily responsible for aiding in the discovery, planning and deployment of technical solutions in the areas of data storage, converged/hyper-converged, virtualization, cloud services, data protection, networking, business continuity, and security- Working to develop new business relationships through both traditional and unconventional methodology (outreach calling, in-person meetings, direct partnering with vendors)- Maintaining a targeted understanding of customers’ business needs while showing the ability to establish trustworthy relationships- Keenly aware of customer buying cycles, budgeting and pain points to build strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business- Clearly understands the business challenges created by the technical requirements the client faces, and works with in-house engineering and vendor-led resources to configure and propose appropriate solutions- Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including data storage, server, virtualization, networking and security- Ten plus years of experience working with Salesforce.com and comparable CRMs
