The cellular switch is a hierarchical collection of Z8000 processor boards performing various levels of administrative and call processing functions, including call control and state management, routing and translation of numbers.

Led a small team in the development a Windows software application to collect Call Detail Records from a cellular network, store records in a database, monitor the records for programmable alarms, and send alarm notifications. Software written in Visual Basic, using VB forms to present and collect information, and ODBC/SQL to read and update a Microsoft SQL database holding CDRs, system configuration, and alarms.
