Handled the alliance business strategy across the portfolio of HPE Strategic Alliances covering established relationships with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and System Integrators (SIs) and Incubators.The portfolio of established ISVs covered included Microsoft, SAP, VMware, Citrix, Red Hat, SUSE. From the new plays I also handled products like Cloudera and Hortonworks with HPE portfolio. Apart from this I was responsible for technologies like Containers and Hybrid Cloud, which required me to engage and build out the strategy plays with start-ups like Docker, Mesosphere, CoreOS, MSFT Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.The SI portfolio covered includes the prominent Global SIs (like Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, PWC) and the six leading Indian SIs (TCS, Wipro, HCL, TechM, Cognizant and Infosys). Apart from this I was responsible for the incubation strategies of new SIs (like KPMG, Ericsson and BAH)As part of my focus on the alliance strategy, it was imperative to engage with the Corporate Development team and Business Groups to understand and incubate potential startup relationships for enhancing the value of the HPE portfolio. This also involved carrying out of potential quick evaluations for strategic investments by Hewlett Packard Ventures or initial target assessments for acquisitions by HPE.Involved in the divestiture management to identify organizations which need to be evaluated for new alignments within Hewlett Packard EnterprisePart of the team that worked on the end-to-end efforts for incubating Docker as a technology alliance partner right from technology evaluation all the way to go-forward product roadmap buildouts and engagement with product engineering.Drove concept to prototype of Google Glass to Field Service solution with embedded HPE Services and HP Imaging Technology, leading to the revival of Google Glass business and officially establishing HPE as a tech partner for Google.
