Rony Duclosel was born and raised in Port au Prince, Haiti. He has made Brooklyn, NY, his home for the past 27 years. He graduated from the City University of New York (CUNY), Brooklyn College, with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation and an M.S. in Physical Education and Sports Management. A few years later, he returned to his alma mater to obtain an M.A. in Political Science/Urban Policy. Rony also holds a diploma in Urban Development from New York University, NYU. Rony has made a quote from Franklin P. Adams, his educational philosophy: "Health is the thing that makes you feel that now is the best time of the year." He teaches his students the benefits of "seeking out" wellness opportunities. When Rony is not teaching, he is helping people buy or sell their homes or serving people in his community in their job search.
