-Developing of detailed procurement plans and strategies covering Civil, MEP, IT and Equipment/Machinery items related to the company’s operations in the United Arab Emirates, KSA and Egypt. -Leading a team of three procurement officers, two store keepers and two drivers to ensure that procurement strategies are correctly and efficiently implemented. -Liaising with the projects Managers/teams in order to ensure the quality and timely delivery of material.-Leading commercial negotiations with vendors, subcontractors and service providers prior to contract/order award.-Overseeing Inventory Control (Central Stores) and Monitoring stock movements.-Maintaining list of vendors/service providers for the purposes of yearly evaluation exercise.-Assisting the tendering team in the project bidding process by providing requisite technical and commercial information.-Approving and overseeing all details related to special orders.-Following up with suppliers, subcontractors and service providers to ensure vendors’ and company claims settlement.-Verifying of Delivery Notes against Local Purchase Order and preparing/approving payment requests for settlement by the Finance Section. -Responsible for the procurement & maintenance of company equipment & heavy machinery-Providing Area Manager with project based monthly cost and statistical reports, for revisions and revaluation purposes-Following up on market developments and recording notable changes which might affect Company procurement policies securing better deals and saving to the company.

-Initiating negotiations of deals with steel and equipment suppliers, worldwide, and presenting results to the Management for approval.-Liaising with the bank(s) on issuance of requisite Letters of Credit L/Cs ensuring terms and conditions are as per contracts and defined INCOTERMS. -Negotiating deals with shipping and logistic companies to ensure timely dispatch/delivery of goods.

-Liaising with the sales force, the marketing team and the warehouse to ensure a better coordination in performing tasks-Acted as a member of the team responsible of launching the Sales Force System Automation.-Assisted in the updating and maintenance of the anti fraud system, and the review of reports for correctness.-Responsible for checking and recording transactions synchronized from the handled devices to the Enterprise Resource Planning programme.-Preparing statistical reports on orders received/issued, and assist in drafting proposals for implementation of upgraded performance support tools.

-Creating and maintaining a data base on information related to Jobs, Applicants, Staff and training on the job.-Preparing statistical and other ad hoc reports related to CV inputs-Preparing and organizing for holding of internal seminars and other training sessions.

-Maintenance of data entry information on customers’ requests/claims and following-up on clearing of settled items.-Processing requests/claims; following up with responsible departments on the completion/settlement of claims to clients’ satisfaction.-Liaising with responsible departments including the technical team(s) on the execution of approved orders, and settlement of long outstanding issue.
