I worked with other Directors of the Chamber through a difficult time of economic uncertainty and transition in our community. We made the Chamber financially viable, hired new staff, secured contracts and successfully delivered programs to our membership and the community at large. Wearing this hat, I have participated in the Economic Transition Team in response to the Babine Forest Products Mill fire.

Sitka was a Forestry Consulting company operating in northern BC, Canada. I formed Sitka with Mary Delury and sold my share to her 2 years later.My focus at Sitka was the development and delivery of of professional GIS services. We managed several forest licenses for a number of companies and managed data, for planning, analysis, and compliance purposes.We used ArcGIS software primarily but also MS Access for data management and manipulation.

Responsible for the start of a local Woods Divisions (Burns Lake) GIS department. Instrumental in the development of a corporate wide GIS for 5 Divisions (FMIS).Duties included day to data map creation, map automation (Arc Info), geo-data analysis, data collection, standardisation, and collection, UNIX computer system administration and network management.
