BASi is a drug discovery and development services CRO company. They provide research and analysis to the global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal health, and medical device industries. RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for operation management, global business development, corporate communications, financial management, project management, and quality requirements for this advanced technology R&D, CRO, and CMO (manufacturing) company. Member of the executive leadership team reporting to the CEO; responsible for corporate administration, and corporate development. Developed, designed, and implemented vertical integration of Elona’s commercial manufacturing division.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:•Raised State and local economic development package totaling more than $13M for the construction and outfitting of Elona’s manufacturing plant•Wrote a federal grant, and was awarded over $2M•Manage the efforts of consultants, attorneys and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management in resolving inherited environmental issues on two sites•Authored and delivered financial projections, business plans, executive summaries, and executive presentations—both domestically and abroad•Led the development of our proprietary portfolio of products--global market $31B+ annually•Obtained international licensing agreements, international sales, joint venture, international financing, capital projects, and merger & acquisition deals up to $100M+•Oversaw all design, bidding, construction, commissioning, and validation of Elona’s 50,000 sq ft cGMP manufacturing facility in Greenwood, Indiana
