Permanent Part-Time jobAdministrative duties –- Answer incoming calls and attend to patient enquiries- Ordering and stocking of dental supplies- Follow up and ensure the return of laboratory work- Arranging appointments, handling telephone queries, receiving payments, patient records, computer work and other office records, supporting Clinic Coordinator in arranging for servicing/repair of dental equipment.- Invoicing and receiptingDental Nurse duties -- Welcome the patient and ensure the patient is comfortable in the dental chair - Prepare the patient for treatment- Record patient information and dental records- Set up and prepare instruments for procedures- Work beside the dentist holding and handing instruments to the dentist- Keep patient's mouth dry and clear by using suction or other devices- Develop X-ray film as directed by the dentist- Sterilise dental instruments and equipment- Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations- Assist in maintaining the clinical environment in a safe and hygienic manner- Ensure infection control procedures are followed as per Dental Infection Control Policy.- Ensure storage, packaging and collection of infectious waste/sharps and used developing / fixing solutions if required.

Working as a Temp nurse at different dental surgeries allowed me to learn and adapt to different dental procedures \ methods followed at the dental clinics.
