• Liaised with Senior Credit Officers and Corporate Bankers to prepare and review credit/deal approvals with a focus on Leveraged/Industrials/Autos– this mainly comprised of analysing and recommending credit structures, reviewing loan documentation, negotiating covenants and formulating credit/take-out strategies• Worked closely with Senior Credit Officers to carry out regular in-depth monitoring of distressed credits (more specifically in 2008-09) – highlighted credit concerns to ensure that red-flags were escalated in a timely fashion and steps were taken to minimise any potential losses• Regular monitoring of performing credits to ensure internal systems correctly reflected details of Citi’s single-name corporate exposure• Performed rating analysis based on internal methodologies, peer comps and rating agency techniques.• Preparation of Stress Test results for review by Citi’s Senior Management and Regulators
