Ahmedabad University is changing the game on higher education in India. We strive to create an environment for holistic student development that (1) builds productive citizens determined always do the right thing, (2) nurtures a life-long love for learning (exploring intersections of education and passion), (3) encourages stepping out of comfort zones and being open to context/new ways of thinking, and (4) adds value/leaves a place better than we found it. Grateful for the opportunity to experiment with a new student orientation, student mitr training program, and ultimate frisbee as a medium for investing in student life/outlook.

• Co-founded and led a non-profit for people of Indian origin to serve in India as a way to understand Self, culture and heritage. • Co-organized online Toolkit for being the Change: https://indicorps.org/toolkit/ • Partnered with community-based organizations to achieve field outcomes, whilst nurturing dynamic leadership. • Oversaw planning, design, and budgeting for new and existing programs. • Managed an accomplished senior staff team heading project creation, fellowship support, Grassroots Development Laboratory, Volunteer Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad Ultimate sports for development, and other initiatives. • Oriented international volunteers on being present to community needs and building trust. • Mentored yearlong Fellows on intensive field projects from public health to livelihoods and assisted with conflict resolution. • Organized workshops and facilitated text-based dialogues and group reflection sessions.

* Designed and implemented a community engagement strategy for the US Congressional campaign for Texas District 22 that helped candidate win primary and close a 20-point spread in general election.* Designed and led a social strategy conference to guide and assess potential philanthropicinitiatives for a Houston-based family foundation.* Conducted internal management assessment and collaborated on fundraising strategy for aninternational education non-profit with a $6 million annual budget.* Organized and led personal influence training for Playworks Texas (Americorps) coaches.* Evaluated guidelines and reworked systems for an evolving national service program in India.* Collaborated on a restorative justice project and potential Death Row clemency campaign.* Served as ground volunteer and point person for overarching Hurricane Harvey Volunteer Day.* Conducted a feasibility assessment for a co-housing community for the Indian diaspora. Createdand led empowerment initiatives for Indian-American seniors.

• Managed three graduate programs consisting of more than 150 scholars representing over 30 countries.• Led a team that created a collaborative environment to share ideas and expertise in order to create a dynamic global network among students, scholars and professors; organized information sessions, faculty-student dialogues, and support systems. • Revitalized MLaw Geneva Program and general interest in public international law.

• Provided grassroots assessment for Ashoka 2.0 re-launch in Bangladesh. • Assisted with strategic direction, fostered a synergistic environment among group of diverse fellows, and built organizational momentum towards re-launch.

• Conducted 24 criminal trials from jury selection to verdict; attained convictions in 22 of 24 trials. • Coordinated major narcotics, alien smuggling, and post-9/11 terrorism-related investigations with DEA, INS, and FBI agents. • Supervised, mentored, and trained incoming border crimes attorneys.

• Served on a trial team that won a $150 million jury verdict in a civil trademark infringement case. • Coordinated summer associate program. • Designed and led expansion of diversity recruitment.
