I am a Fashion Designer by education. After marriage, I took a break on my career front as I was busy in parenting my daughters. Later I joined a training called “ Early years of childhood education” and I excelled in this field. I started to enjoy being a teacher of tiny tots. I joined “Pumpkim Patch” school at Pune as a Pre-school educator. At that time I recognized my love and passion for teaching little children. Later I joined 'The Orchid School”. This journey was a beautiful one full of learnings and meaningful experiences with children. Being an early childhood educator is very rewarding in lots of ways. Every morning I use to get up to give surprises to my children . Their happiness was something which brightened my days. Being with kids telling them stories, playing with them ,surprising them ,teaching them were some of my favourite thing . I just loved their laughter and their eyes gazing at me ,when I am telling them a story. Children use to wait for me and I took my story box which I named “Pitara “ with me to tell them stories. In my stories I use to travel with them ,go for an adventure ,visit a safari venture, into dangerous jungle and walk in white sandy beach with them and enjoyed music of nature. This was the time when I realised how much I am in love with this beautiful art called Storytelling. I use to make beautiful puppets for them ,use puppet theatre, shadow puppets, music drums bells and lots of different mediums to tell stories to children. All this gave me inspiration to enrol myself to a professional course in Storytelling. I successfully completed the course in Storytelling from “International Institute of storytelling USA”. I promised myself to spread this awareness to the world about storytelling. I joined “Colours Preschool” where I was working as a Teacher’s coach and Parents educator . After working with “Colours” I got a new insight and realised there is lot to do. I was inspired and made my mission to impact 50,000 parents and teachers and enabling children’s wholesome physical and mental development.I have conducted about 25 workshops in different areas.
