As a Management Information Specialist, I was responsible for conducting technical support functions for all IT concerns related to phone systems, servers, networking, end user problems, and application support. In addition, I also performed investigations, audits, and implementation of proper policies for addressing potential Medicaid frauds, abuse, and waste. Other duties include interpreting data, analyzing results, providing metrics and reports to Management Executives, and tracking all FMLA, leave of absence, and workers' compensation case files. Significant accomplishments include:◆ Led the development and execution of effective workflows and processes for addressing problems in each department using the latest technologies. ◆ Formulated recommendations on cost saving opportunities, best practices, and performance enhancements, which reduced overtime requirements from 45% to 4.87%. ◆ Ensured that all personnel were in compliance with regulations and guidelines as part of legal risk management.

As a Service Coordinator, I was in charge of managing daily scheduling and verification of visits for all home health aides, ensuring prompt replacement and redistribution of cases due to staffing shortage, and communicating with home health aide and patients about any change in conditions, complaints, and employee incidents. In addition, I also conducted monthly satisfaction follow-up calls to patients and home health aides, and facilitated liaison with the nursing, payroll, HR, and compliance teams to ensure all reported concerns or questions were properly addressed.

As part of my internship training, I conducted accurate and timely billing of all commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid Accounts. Other duties include verifying appropriate application of charges for each service performed, assisting in client audits, providing customer service to patients inquiring about their accounts, and resolving patient questions and concerns regarding billing statements.
