The mission of the Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) is to promote, mobilize, and lead an inclusive,trans-disciplinary field of Planetary Health and its diverse science, stories, solutions, andcommunities to achieve the Great Transition, a comprehensive shift in how human beings interactwith each other and Nature. Located at John Hopkins University, the PHA’s Next Generation Network represents students and young leaders in Planetary Health from around the world. The Next Gen Network includes programs such as the Planetary Health Campus Ambassador (PHCA) program, which is focused on educating and activating a Planetary Health community on campus.

Copenhagen University

Eye on Global Health and Decolonising Global Health are partner initiatives led by students at the University of Copenhagen. As a hub of writing, events and information related to the fields of global health and decolonisation, they provide a space for a diverse array of voices exploring health and decolonisation as means of promoting liberation and equity worldwide. As a co-chair, I am responsible for planning and strategising for both initiatives, steering their present and future direction.

Dulikhel, Nepal

For this 4-week fellowship at Dhulikhel Hospital, in collaboration with Copenhagen University, I attended lectures on public health (challenges) in Nepal and completed a concept note on Dengue Virus & climatic factors in Nepal.

Ho Chi Minhstad, Vietnam

For this 6-week internship, as part of the Deepening Minor Global Health, hosted by Erasmus Medical Center, I was guided by medical professionals from the Hospital for Tropical Diseases to learn more about the health care system and health challenges of Vietnam. I completed three rotations at the following departments: Infectious and Tropical Diseases, Gastroenterology and Cardiology.
