Bestuurslid van coöperaties Huygens Ecostroom en Amstelveen Ecostroom. Ecostroom streeft een maatschappelijk doel na en wil zoveel schone energie produceren, voor een zo laag mogelijke prijs. De opwekking van deze schone energie gaat door middel van zonnepanelen op daken van bedrijven in de directe omgeving van de leden. Buurtbewoners kunnen deze panelen kopen en op deze manier zelf zonne-energie opwekken, ook als dit niet kan op het dak van hun eigen of huurwoning. De coöperatie Ecostroom heeft afspraken met het duurzaamheidsfonds van de gemeente Amsterdam.
