• Assisted over 40 companies in applying predictive analytics to auto and homeowners rating, underwriting and product development

• Serving as actuarial support for several companies, providing services including indication development, rate filing and regulatory support, and monitoring of program experience
• Performed external peer reviews of insurance companies’ internal model development processes and provided recommendations for improving the modeling process and the resulting rating plans

Worked as the manager of the personal lines actuarial department. Primary focus was rate adequacy and filings for auto and homeowners insurance in 15 states.

As an actuarial analyst, I was responsible for developing rate indications and monitoring state experience for several states in the southeastern United States. I also worked with corporate departments and regional management teams to develop and implement final rate recommendations.
