My PhD was part of an applied experimental research project (CRC-P), investigating the use of hydrocarbon fuels in hypersonic propulsion, which required the design and construction of a bespoke experimental facility. - Involved in systems design, construction and operation of an experimental facility for high-temperature hydrocarbon fuel testing- Designed and built lab electrical system including safety systems and data acquisition.- Designed, lead and conducted several test campaigns- Developed and implemented operational procedures and standards

Delft

As the chief powertrain at Eco Runner Team Delft, I was in charge of the powertrain design of a hydrogen powered vehicle, with the goal of optimizing efficiency. Specifically, I was the lead fuel cell engineer, designing and manufacturing new fuel cell support and control systems. In addition I was the lead electronics engineer, designing and manufacturing the electronic measurement and control systems in the car. As a full-time member, I was also involved in the overal project management and external representation of the team, giving me valuable leadership experience in addition to a great increase in technical knowledge.

Delft Area, Netherlands

ESN Delft organizes cultural and social activities for exchange and other international students in Delft, the Netherlands.As co-founder and board member, I was involved in setting-up, establishing and running the organization for its first year and a half of existence. As Vice-President, I was liaison to the university and often represented the organization to external parties. My work as the secretary involved helping students with their queries and maintaining the internal organization of ESN Delft. Finally, as PR&Marketing officer I was resposible for running the website and social media of ESN Delft and I was in charge of acquisitions for a student discount card.Being a part of this organization gave me a lot of experience in business management and marketing strategy, as well as organizational management skills and retail experience.

I was co-representative of ESN the Netherlands at international ESN Conferences. This involved following and aiding in policy development at the international level.In addition, I was the Main Chair of the May 2016 General Assembly. This gave me managament experience and extra experience talking in front of large crowds
