The BSS Transformation Program was to deliver Telstra’s current and future requirements for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Billing (Rating, Billing & Credit Management) and Product Catalogue to support more than 10 million customers and more than 20 million services, and issue 70 million bills and 13 million orders. The OSS program had been divided into five streams: Fulfilment, Inventory, Customer Service Assurance, Network Service Assurance, and Service Delivery Platform. Amdocs B/OSS Manager (ABM 6.5 and later 7.5) is selected to support these OSS requirements for Service Fulfilment.Joost was responsible for the coordination of testing, change management and defect management for different project phases between requirement analysis, solution design, and testing; managed and executed by IBM as the primary system integrator and Telstra as the end-customer. Joost led a team of around five resources in Melbourne, supplemented with additional resources from the various Amdocs competency centres, as well as coordination of resources from the infrastructure and application support teams when required.During this period, TelstraClear in New Zealand initiated a solution design phase to investigate the possibilities to replace their current system stack with Amdocs CRM, Amdocs Order Management and Kenan Arbor Billing. Joost was responsible for the design of the integration between Amdocs CRM and Kenan Billing, including Account Management, Billing Information, Collections and Payments and integrate the proposal into the overall solution design.
