In my current position I work on a client-specific contract for Shell through ASCO Group.I oversee the kitting and staging of work order materials for general maintenance and shutdown/turnaround periods on Shell's north sea platforms. I ensure materials are stored onshore and readily available for when needed by the platform.On a daily basis I work with my team to kit and stage materials that are unique to each specific work order and document and monitor their progress through the SAP database, as well as using my own back up EXCEL spreadsheets to ensure an accurate and efficient storage and shipping of all materials.I liaise daily with colleagues onshore and offshore and keep good communication levels regarding impending work order start dates etc. to ensure materials are prepared in good time to reach the platform before work commences.

As Warehouse Coordinator I undertook every duty in the warehouse, ranging from receipts to picking and packing into containers for forwarding offshore; in addition to this, I performed all fork lift duties needed. During my time here I gained dangerous goods and spillage training, and trained any new starts we had who came to work in the warehouse, such as agency staff for busy periods etc.
