I am an IACAT registered senior music therapist and a qualified supervisor. I have extensive experience of music based interventions for individuals and groups in mental health contexts providing a diverse range of music therapy programmes in several acute in-patient psychiatric services and also in a range of community mental health settings such as day hospitals, day centres, psychiatry of later life services, and mental health orientated community arts programmes.I work with both adults and children, and facilitate music based wellness workshops, at Soearth Projects in Kill, Co Kildare. https://soearthprojects.com/ I have also worked extensively in the area of intellectual disability, including autism, with all ages in individual and in group settings.I qualified as a music therapist in 2005 and continued my training in 2010 by completing a Masters programme in Research Methodologies.
