Lytton Oil Refinery & Beach Energy Bass Strait Assets - Brisbane & Bass Strait

Employed as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter full-time at Lytton, and completing intermittent campaign work on the offshore platforms, key duties include:► Installation, removal, re-installation, testing, inspection, commissioning, preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, overhaul, refurbishment and/or fault-finding of turbines, process piping, pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, vessels, valves, mechanical seals, filters, engines, strainers, spacers, oil lines, burners, gearboxes, bearings, spools, spades and blinds► Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications including P&ID’s, isometrics and regulatory Standards and Codes to ensure all tasks are executed to required specifications with correct materials (same for all roles below)► Health and Safety Representative and First Aider, leading by example regarding HSE compliance, participating and actively contributing to risk assessment and safety meetings, and creating and reviewing of SWMS’s and SWI’s► Flange management of bolted flange connections for joint integrity and leak prevention, hi-torqueing and tensioning, precision laser alignments, and the assembly and balancing of high-speed pumps and turbines► Verification and installation of mechanical isolations to ensure safe access to plant and equipment, de-isolating for effective returns to service, and maintaining compliance with site PTW and LOTO systems► Responding to breakdowns and safety critical issues, and troubleshooting and repairing such issues to maximise production► Using SAP (CMMS) for work order tracking, task scheduling, maintenance recording, hours-in, and booking parts► Planning of mechanical maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with the maintenance management system► Mechanical upgrades as part of capital projects, and participating in T&I (Turnaround and Inspection) events► Signing off and handing back completed work packs and equipment to operations.

Wheatstone Upstream Platform & Ichthys Venturer Fpso - Offshore Wa/Browse Basin

Employed as a Mechanical Fitter first on the Wheatstone Platform, and then on the Venturer FPSO, key duties included:► Led teams of up to 14 people through the safe and on-time hook-up, commissioning and hand-over of mechanical systems and equipment, including MEG and TEG packages and the installation, removal, re-instatement, inspection and commissioning of process piping, pumps, valves (PSV, ESD and ball), engines, strainers, oil lines, spools, spades► Compiled risk assessments and work instructions to identify and control hazards and ensure safe work methods, followed all safe work systems to ensure Zero Harm to people, equipment and the environment, and held meaningful safety interactions to raise awareness and enhance overall site safety culture (same for all roles below)► Wrote PTW, developed work packs, designed, verified and installed mechanical isolations, de-isolated for effective returns to service, and worked safely under the ISSoW (Integrated Safe Systems of Work) LOTO system ► Completed ITR’s (Inspection and Test Records) to verify the following of design details, signed off job tasks for the work teams, and compiled and submitted reports pertaining to work scopes and manning hours► Flange management alignment and inspections (Grayloc, RTJ and SWG), as well as hi-torqueing and tensioning, and the levelling, alignment and soft-footing of motors and pumps►NB: Between Wheatstone HUC and moving onto the Venturer FPSO, I worked for 6 weeks on Woodside’s OKHA FPSO (offshore WA through Vertech), completing campaign maintenance works for mechanical systems and equipment.

Woodside Offshore Platforms - Offshore Wa

Employed as a Rope Access Mechanical Fitter, key duties included:☛ Vertech - Woodside’s Goodwyn Alpha Platform (2 x 3 week swings) ► Inspection, removal and reinstatement of structural steel on lattice boom pedestal cranes via safe rope access methods, and demolition of a redundant drill derrick. ☛ Applus - Angel Platform (4 weeks) & North Rankin Complex (NRA & NRB for 8 weeks)► Inspection and preventative maintenance of structural steel on lattice boom pedestal cranes via rope access (at heights of circa 100 metres over water), as well as installing flare tip bracing, and assisting with NDT inspections of risers► Replacement of hydraulic lines on cranes via rope access, and recording and reporting of defective crane sections► Installing and tensioning structural steel, and hydraulic torqueing of flanges via safe rope access methods.

Employed as a Mechanical Testing Technician, key duties included:► Testing of mechanical systems and equipment to validate that such equipment was fabricated, installed, cleaned and tested in accordance with design and ready for commissioning requirements.

Conocophillips Darwin Lng (Dlng) Plant - Darwin, Nt

Employed as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, key duties included:► Preventative and reactive maintenance of mechanical components in/on rotating and static plant and equipment including turbines, compressors, pumps, valves and process piping, and associated reporting.

Ranger Uranium Mine - Jabiru, Nt

► Breakdown maintenance and shutdowns for fixed plant and equipment across site, which included the inspection, removal, repair, reinstatement of process piping, valves, pumps, motors, gearboxes and crushers, and associated reporting.

Raaf Base - Darwin, Nt

Macarthur Wind Farm - Macarthur, Vic

► Worked alongside large and diverse construction teams for the construction and commissioning of V112 Wind turbines ► Commissioning and maintenance, and solving complex technical issues with the wind turbines along with blade and main component change outs, including troubleshooting in the 500/132kV switchyards.

Mining, Water & Grain Handling Facilities - Portland, Vic

► Maintenance and shutdown work for Iluka Resources at their mining and processing sites which include Balmoral, Ouyen and their mineral separation plant in Hamilton (all in Victoria)► Shutdown works at Graincorp’s port facility at Portland, construction work at the WRP mine site Ouyen, and maintenance for Wannon Water.
