Employed as a Mechanical Fitter first on the Wheatstone Platform, and then on the Venturer FPSO, key duties included:► Led teams of up to 14 people through the safe and on-time hook-up, commissioning and hand-over of mechanical systems and equipment, including MEG and TEG packages and the installation, removal, re-instatement, inspection and commissioning of process piping, pumps, valves (PSV, ESD and ball), engines, strainers, oil lines, spools, spades► Compiled risk assessments and work instructions to identify and control hazards and ensure safe work methods, followed all safe work systems to ensure Zero Harm to people, equipment and the environment, and held meaningful safety interactions to raise awareness and enhance overall site safety culture (same for all roles below)► Wrote PTW, developed work packs, designed, verified and installed mechanical isolations, de-isolated for effective returns to service, and worked safely under the ISSoW (Integrated Safe Systems of Work) LOTO system ► Completed ITR’s (Inspection and Test Records) to verify the following of design details, signed off job tasks for the work teams, and compiled and submitted reports pertaining to work scopes and manning hours► Flange management alignment and inspections (Grayloc, RTJ and SWG), as well as hi-torqueing and tensioning, and the levelling, alignment and soft-footing of motors and pumps►NB: Between Wheatstone HUC and moving onto the Venturer FPSO, I worked for 6 weeks on Woodside’s OKHA FPSO (offshore WA through Vertech), completing campaign maintenance works for mechanical systems and equipment.

Employed as a Rope Access Mechanical Fitter, key duties included:☛ Vertech - Woodside’s Goodwyn Alpha Platform (2 x 3 week swings) ► Inspection, removal and reinstatement of structural steel on lattice boom pedestal cranes via safe rope access methods, and demolition of a redundant drill derrick. ☛ Applus - Angel Platform (4 weeks) & North Rankin Complex (NRA & NRB for 8 weeks)► Inspection and preventative maintenance of structural steel on lattice boom pedestal cranes via rope access (at heights of circa 100 metres over water), as well as installing flare tip bracing, and assisting with NDT inspections of risers► Replacement of hydraulic lines on cranes via rope access, and recording and reporting of defective crane sections► Installing and tensioning structural steel, and hydraulic torqueing of flanges via safe rope access methods.
