Rory Asyari is a news anchor, seasoned MC, public speaking coach, actor, entrepreneur and digital creator based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He had worked as a prime-time news anchor for 10 years with Indonesia’s news channel Metro TV. Rory hosted Prime Talk, a flagship political debate program on Metro TV for 2 years before stepping aside in Sept 2020.During his tenure as a TV journalist, Rory took a break for 1.5 year to work as a PR consultant with a US-based PR consultancy, FleishmanHillard Indonesia in 2017-2018.Rory is also a public speaking coach with Sepikul Indonesia, a fast-growing public speaking school in Jakarta. He trains C-level executives, prominent public officials, PR managers, marketers, university students and the public - not only on public speaking but also media relations, PR crisis mitigation, Indonesian media landscape, and media interview techniques.
