As the Corporate Governance Officer at Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) since December 2021, I oversee the implementation of the Code of Practice for the Governance of Education and Training Boards. I ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, manage the board's meetings and records, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. With over seven years of work experience in finance, office management, and governance, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to this role.I hold a Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Economics from Maynooth University, as well as a Certificate in Supervisory Management and Team Leadership from Athlone Institute of Technology. I also have skills in financial accounting, account management, and Microsoft Office, which I have applied in my previous roles as Operations Manager at Buggy Refrigeration and Financial Management Associate at EY. My core competencies include attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. I am passionate about supporting the mission of LOETB to provide quality education and training opportunities for learners and communities in Laois and Offaly.
